Choose a New Build Energy Saving Plan

 This option is suitable for your new-build, at any stage from planning right up to the early stages of the building, and will be your energy saving blue print right throughout the process.

 BERC will carry out a detailed analysis of drawings and specifications leading to a comprehensive report which will ensure that the house will achieve high energy performance and lower running costs while also being compliant with the relevant building regulations. Through comprehensive calculations and in-depth knowledge of  renewable technologies and construction detailing we will provide you with a clear and concise report outlining important energy saving advice which is provided in a format that is easy to understand.

BERC’s New Build Energy Saving Plan will:

• Establish clear aims with our client i.e. what standard do you wish to achieve?
• Introduce our client to important energy saving considerations
• Critically analyze the specifications and drawings to improve on the projected energy performance by highlighting improvements, better products, better detailing and more efficient heating systems.
• Calculate U-Values for different insulations to allow clients to carry out cost analysis.
• Suggest suitable renewable technologies with emphasis on its cost effectiveness.
• Calculate a provisional rating with an agreed specification prior to building and submit all details in report format.
• Provide you with a BER when the dwelling is completed.
